We are currently providing Supervised Rapid Antigen Tests.

Test Kits are TGA approved and have clinical sensitivity greater than 95% PPA (Positive Percentage Agreement)

The Rapid Antigen Test can be taken with a nurse or a doctor and usually takes about 20 minutes.
With a Nurse: $40 (Includes the price of the RAT Kit)
With a Doctor: $60 (Includes the price of the RAT Kit)

COVID19 VACCINATION INFORMATION
We are pleased to be an approved COVID-19 vaccination centre.
As of Monday 10th of January 2022, all people 5 years and over are eligible for a Pfizer vaccination.
WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT BOOKING COVID19 VACCINATION APPOINTMENTS FOR ANY NEW PATIENTS. WE ARE TAKING BOOKINGS FOR BOOSTER DOSES FOR PATIENTS WHO HAD THEIR FIRST TWO VACCINES AT OUR CLINIC.
ELIGIBILITY FOR BOOSTER DOSE & ADDITIONAL CLINICAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR COVID19 VACCINATION
Please note, WINTER BOOSTER DOSE recommendations are in place for people at increased risk of severe illness, to be given 4 months after the first booster dose.
All services associated with our COVID-19 vaccine clinics are 100% bulk-billed to Medicare cardholders.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT OUR COVID-19 VACCINATION CLINICS
When you attend our practice for your COVID-19 Vaccination, you will be assessed by one of our qualified nurses, who will then administer the vaccine once your eligibility and consent is confirmed. Our GPs remain available on-site to assist where necessary.

PLEASE NOTE, the COVID-19 Vaccination appointments are for COVID-19 vaccinations only – i.e. there won’t be an opportunity for any other health matters to be addressed during your COVID-19 vaccination appointment.

Fees may apply if appointments are cancelled, or if patients do not attend their scheduled visit without 2 hours’ notice (we’re trying to ensure we don’t have any wasted doses)

Due to the number of patients attending the vaccination clinics, waiting room chairs are limited and reserved for patients only. Please only attend by yourself whenever possible.

COVID-19 VACCINATION EXEMPTIONS:
​
Please note there are only a limited number of medical conditions which would qualify a person for either a temporary or permanent COVID-19 Vaccination exemption. Our GPs and nurses CANNOT issue exemptions for people who do not have a confirmed reason for an exemption.
​
Reasons for a permanent medical exemption are limited to the following:

Anaphylaxis (a type of severe allergic reaction) to a previous dose of all COVID-19 vaccine types.

Anaphylaxis after exposure to any component of the vaccine, including polysorbate 80 for AstraZeneca, & polyethylene glycol (PEG) for Pfizer and Moderna.

Any other serious adverse event, that following review by an experienced immunisation provider/medical specialist was attributed to a previous dose of both a AstraZeneca vaccine and Pfizer/Moderna vaccine (and without another cause identified).

History of capillary leak syndrome [AstraZeneca Only]

TTS occurring after a previous dose of the vaccine [AstraZeneca Only]
-
Myocarditis and/or pericarditis attributed to a previous dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine [Moderna or Pfizer]

PRIOR TO YOUR COVID-19 VACCINATION

Please ensure that you haven’t had any other vaccinations in the last 7 days prior to your scheduled vaccination appointment.

Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time

Please wear a loose-fitting top or a singlet so you don’t need to get unchanged.

If you have had any significant heart conditions diagnosed previously, please consult your usual GP and ensure you bring any relevant information with you to your vaccination appointment.

Preparing for your vaccination
Prior to your appointment, there are some things you can do to get ready.
AFTER YOUR COVID-19 VACCINATION
All patients will be expected to wait at least 15 minutes after vaccination (to monitor any allergic reactions to the vaccine); with high-risk patients needing to wait for 30 minutes.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Patients must hold a current Medicare card & bring it with them (Individuals without a Medicare card can get access to the COVID-19 vaccines at Government Vaccine Centres/Respiratory Clinics)

Patients must commit to booking both doses

Patients with any existing heart conditions will require a health summary or a letter from their usual GP
